Windscreen or dash top mounting ensures a neat install and if we fit the system for you we can make it neater still with a power cable hard wire ensuring no unsightly cables!

add on navigationThis type of system will be fully installed to the vehicle but with the use of a separate monitor mounted somewhere on the dash, great for commercial vehicles or vehicles where a double din unit cannot be installed. , or the user does not wish to interfere withe vehicles existing entertainment system.  All the features of a top end portable can be found with the addition of a larger screen and the ability to add a reversing camera to the system. Full european mapping as standard, vast Point Of Interest databases, detailed lane guidance and clear detailed voice commands provide comprehensive route guidance.

Integrated (Double Din)

Many Cars, Vans and Trucks leave the factory today with a provision for a double din head unit, and in some cases even if it looks like your existing radio is very much a permanent fixture of the dash there are many complete replacement dash panels available to allow double din fitment.

Most will include a whole host of additional features such as radio, CD, full iPod integration including video playback, DVD playback and Bluetooth telephone connectivity. Most systems can be expanded further with DAB digital radio tuners, DVB digital TV tuners, extra monitors for rear seat viewing and reverse parking cameras.

Some systems now come with heights and weights functionality, allowing the driver to input the size , weight and cargo  of the vehicle to avoid guidance through restricted roads. Great for HGV use. Trafficmaster SmartNav is unlike the other systems whereby when installed in its basic form it is controlled by a single small button. This is used to call a control centre whereby you will relay your required destination to a live operator who then sends the route information to your car taking into account current traffic information. Guidance is then via recorded voice commands. The system carries a subscription charge which can be extended to include speed camera information, congestion zone alerts, european guidance and stolen vehicle recovery.

The detailed street level maps are both simple and clear. A green line shows your route ahead while your speed, estimated time of arrival and current time are displayed across the bottom. Your current location and direction are shown using our Trafficmaster icon. Thankfully, it is easily removed from view to deter envious thieves.
